Accommodations The main companionway to AZZURA’s interior is accessed by the masterfully crafted, signature Jongert, curved teak door, which electrically retracts out of view. The MAIN SALON has an elliptical dining area to port, surrounding a custom teak table by Jongert that expands and retracts with interior folding leaves, and two dining chairs inboard. To port of the companionway, the fully equipped wet bar has a refrigerator (new 2016), ice maker (new 2016), sink and stowage for bottles and glasses. Outboard to starboard, the lounge area has a full-length couch with end table (with wine/liquor storage below) aft, cocktail table inboard and a reclining chair aft, facing the entertainment center on the forward bulkhead, with cabinetry on each side for storage of china, silverware and crystal. The salon has opening ports, port and starboard, which accentuate the area’s already large beam width. Additional light and natural ventilation is provided via overhead opening hatches and cabin side portlights. The salon is comfortable in all respects is indeed, the social hub of the yacht’s interior. Owner and Guest accommodations are aft of the salon, down a teak stairway to the centerline passageway. The OWNER’S STATEROOM is fully aft and full beam of the yacht, with a Queen size berth on centerline, vanity, settee and bookshelves outboard to starboard, two doubleopening fullheight closets on the forward bulkhead (one with shelves and drawers) and entertainment center to port. The owner’s large ensuite head is outboard to port with inlaid floors, ample counter and storage space and Jongert’s signature round shower stall with teak seat. The TWIN GUEST STATEROOMS, have identical accommodations with wide single beds and night table between, drawer storage below the berths, hanging locker, bookshelves, hull ports, TV/Stereo and ensuite head with stall shower. At the forward end of the passageway is a foyer area with a small office desk and chair with HP Network Printer, Nav computer CPU and SatCom above. To port, the watertight door to the engine room, complete with custom tool storage pouches, creates a soundproof barrier. There are two additional lockers in this area including a proper ‘wet locker’ for foul weather gear. Forward of the main salon to port, an automatic pneumatic sliding door leads to AZZURA’s service and crew area. To port is a full crew dinette, with the Miele washer/dryer below the seating. To starboard, the professionally equipped GALLEY has a full wall of refrigeration forward with four large boxes by Frigoboat that can each serve as either refrigerator or freezers. The gimballed stainless steel Miele stove and extractor fan is outboard to starboard, surrounded by an abundance of counter and cabinet space. The Miele Commercial grade dish washer will do a full load in just 14 minutes. Above the centerline counter is a TV/entertainment area that swivels port or starboard to service the chef or the crew dinette. Forward of the galley are TWO CREW CABINS, each with hanging lockers, drawers and outboard shelves; and ensuite head. The port crew cabin has over/under staggered bunks. To starboard, the captain’s cabin has a lower bed which can be converted to a double and an upper single bed complete with fold down desk and book shelves to accommodate all the original build manuals. The interior décor by Peter Sijm and Jongert finishwork aboard AZZURA is in a class of its own. Interior woodwork is crafted of rich varnished teak, bookmatched and complemented by creamcolored Ultrasuede and azure blue. Floors are carpeted except for the galley which has a European cork floor and guest/crew heads which are eak and Holly. All cabins have individual temperature controls for the airconditioning/ heating system. Fresh air comes into the boat from 98’ (30m) up the mast for the air-conditioning/ heating system and forced air ventilation. DC fans and natural ventilation are also an option. Curtains provide privacy. A variety of lights from activity lights to overhead and courtesy lighting set the mood. Closets are cedarlined with automatic lights. Bathrooms are white Corian, including the floor, with teak and metal accents. Toilets are freshwater. Custom, round Jongert showers, mirrored medicine cabinets and plenty of counter space at each sink. A hot water circulation pump ensures instant hot water at all locations.
